Behind My Trader Joe's List

I think my love for Trader Joe's was born when I was going to college at the University of California Santa Barbara. Since I already had a passion for cooking and all things tasty, I was excited the day a close friend of mine introduced me to Trader Joe's and pointed out a few items she recommended. I took her advice and was absolutely hooked from bite one. After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles and as it turned out, there was a Trader Joe's a few blocks from me. My roommates were native to Trader Joe's at that time, but that did not stop them from eating everything branded Trader Joe's. I started to take them grocery shopping with me at our local Trader Joe's and they ended up having a similar experience and became addicted to Trader Joe's quickly.

As a result I started this blog in an attempt to keep them in the loop of what was yummy. I then created a Twitter handle @traderjoeslist  and a Facebook page to further develop my foodie passion and have been blown away by all my fans and their great support and contributions. I will continue to post all about Trader Joe's and warmly welcome any feedback!

Cheers!

  1. Natasha,
I am a Trader Joe's fan, too - ever since I lived in L.A. in the 1990's. However, I was just diagnosed Celiac and have taken a closer look at the Gluten Free world - and it is frightening. There is a lot of misinformation on the web regarding what foods are 'safe' or not. Unless you are Celiac yourself, you may not understand that it is a serious disease, not just a fad. Please don't add to the mountain of misinformation about gluten-free foods - it's confusing enough and could hurt someone. Thanks for listening.
