Spiced Cider

Thanks to @avantgarland we have a new review on TJ's Spiced Cider! Send your review of your favorite product to traderjoeslist@gmail.com and get posted!

As the leaves turn here in North Carolina, where we have the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains that make for an amazing display of autumn, I turn to the seasonal foods: apples, pumpkin, chai. Trader Joes carries a spiced Apple Cider that rings in the season perfectly. You can drink it cold or heat it up for a snuggly drink that goes splendidly with the first fire of the season. Halloween and Thanksgiving are upon us and nothing soothes and puts you in the spirit quite like a great hot cider.

Call me skinny, but I'm waiting to hear from YOU! Be the next feature review on TJsList. Email to traderjoeslist@gmail.com

  1. Always a holiday favorite, pour the Spiced Cider into a Crockpot, add some cinnamon sticks and heat up to desired temperature.

  3. This is one of my favorite seasonal items!! My mom makes killer apple cider, but when I don't have her around, this is a great alternative. Try heating up 8 oz in a mug in the morning (about 2 min in the microwave).

  4. Came in from the rain yesterday (after holding umbrella to protect hubby's head from the pouring water while he re lit the water heater), to a warm mug of TJ's spiced cider. We soon forgot we were just outdoors in the cold rainy weather, as the cider put us in a good place. I just love the stuff.

  5. I like to make this with milk and a spoonful of caramel sauce... if you are a fan of the caramel apple spice drink at starbucks, this is similar... play with proportions to your personal liking... :)

  6. Oh! I almost forgot! Add a splash of vodka, or rum, or whatever else you might desire, for those extra cold evenings... ;)
